Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking to hire an Account Director. The selected candidate could reside in Korea.
We are looking for a self-starter that is responsible for developing leads and opportunities in the assigned sector.
As the Account Director, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence market share in the region by generating additional sales leads with new and existing clients for software and service solutions along with other any products as required by management.
- Understanding and evaluating the external business environment and customer demands to identify and secure profitable business opportunities in previously untapped markets.
- Update and Maintain the Go Sell database in line with our selling practices, policies and procedures. Including, Account plans, activities to ensure accurate representation of Customer engagement.
- Acting as the main interface with the client to ensure optimal service level is provided and all the client’s requirements are met at all times.
- Understanding the customer’s business, objectives, decision making processes, buying criteria and forming long term business partnerships in order to leverage revenue from the relationship.
- Develop and maintain a network of industry associations and contacts.
- Work closely with new clients to determine their future needs and proposing suitable products, services and upgrades in order to maintain and grow revenue streams.
- Develop and update on a regular basis accounts plans that will assist Marketing with planning and scheduling program and campaigns.
- Maintain contact with assigned clients and ensure their continued satisfaction with Hexagon software and services.
- Conducting solution presentations and coordinating demonstrations with pre-sales team members, and coordinating the preparation of Sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and Account Management plans.
- Coordinating, conducting and participating in Sales promotions campaigns, events and displays.
- Identifying potential partners or clients, performing competitive research, evaluating proposed deals/partnerships and analyzing and developing business cases for new business targets.
- Keeping abreast of competitor’s Sales strategies.
- Negotiating contracts in accordance with Hexagon ALI’s policies.
- Liaising with Technical support staff regarding technical issues to ensure client retention and continued business.
- Work closely with a senior sales manager in the territory for guidance and strategy.

As the Customer Success Advisor, you will be the trusted advisor to our customers to help them win in their business while maximizing their return on investment in Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence solutions. Our Customer Success team in a key role to drive customer satisfaction through their success in achieving desired outcomes by use of Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division. Leveraging your practical industry knowledge, business acumen, relationship management and broad understanding of Hexagon.
This is a great opportunity to grow into a role with collaborative drive change management and adoption activities with key Business Decision Makers, help reduce implementation risk, drive usage of existing solutions, identify opportunities for upsell/cross-sell and maintain established retention rates for both maintenance and SaaS renewals.
The selected candidate will be focused primarily on the post-sales phase and works in a complementary fashion with the Sales Account team, Services Implementation team, and Technical Support team in alignment with the Customer Engagement program.
Responsibilities
- Work with the assigned customers through the customer life cycle to provide a smooth transition through different stages (Onboard, Implement, Adopt, Achieve, Evolve).
- Lead adoption activities including educating customer on support processes and training requirements to help them meet their expected outcomes.
- Lead and own all aspects of post-sales engagement with the customer including coordination with Sales, Account Management, Project Management and the Implementation team, Trainers, Product Management and Technical Support Analysts.
- Continuously measure results, advising the customer on improving adoption, utilisation and improving user’s awareness of what is possible with Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Inteligence Solutions.
- Identify risk and implement churn mitigation strategies to retain revenue.
- Monitor and improve the customer health and satisfaction scores.
- Develop and maintain relationships with all key customer contacts.
- Be a single point of contact for "post-sales" escalations and be the customer champion within Hexagon ALI.
- Work with cross functional teams (internal and external) to ensure timely resolution of the customer’s escalations and complex technical issues involving different internal teams.
- Conduct periodic reviews of the use of Hexagon ALI solutions, support services and status of issues and escalations.
- Educate customer on product roadmap, feature releases and in upgrade planning.

As the Account Development Representative – Korea you will work as the experienced team member in the Korea region to identify, research and approach customers in target industries.
Utilising your expert outbound sales skills and leveraging our established digital marketing organisation, our goal is to identify, research, contact and qualify prospects in across various industries in Korea with the primary goal of booking a meeting for our Field Sales Team. Target industries include Energy Generation, Oil & Gas, Transport, Construction and Engineering.
This position is a unique opportunity for an experienced Lead Generation and Account Development Representative from the computer software sector (i.e. SaaS, Subscription Sales, Perpetual Sales), with exceptional Korean language skills, new business prospecting and outbound sales skills.

The selected candidate needs to excellent communicate in Japanese (Speak read and write); As the Solution Consultant specialising in Design/ Engineering, you will be responsible for providing technical and subject matter expertise for Hexagon Design/Engineering (2D & 3D) technologies and later to further expand into project delivery solutions in pre-sales engagements. You will be working closely with sales teams across the sales segments and Industry Consultants needing their support in establishing the value of the Hexagon solution for achieving customer business outcomes through technical presentation and targeted demonstrations. As well as conducting relevant training of internal teams for the purpose of knowledge sharing.
